Privacy, terms & the rest of the fine print

WIEWAVE Private Limited (“WIEWAVE”, “we”, “us”) operates this website. This policy explains what personal information we collect through it, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect

The only personal information this website asks for is what you type into our contact form: your name, email address, optionally your company name, the area of work you're enquiring about, and your message. We collect this because we need it to reply to you.

If you email or call us directly, we hold that correspondence and your contact details for the same reason.

How we use it

We use your enquiry solely to respond to it and to carry on the resulting conversation about our services. We do not sell your personal information, we do not rent or trade it, and we do not use it to send you marketing you didn't ask for.

How it's handled

Contact form submissions are delivered to us by email over an authenticated SMTP connection. The website does not store your submission in its own database. Your message therefore lives in our company email account, which is access-controlled and limited to staff who need it.

Retention

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it's useful for the business relationship, and delete it when it no longer is. You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see “Your rights” below.

Third parties

This website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider, and email is delivered through a third-party email provider. Those providers process data on our behalf in order to serve the site and deliver mail. We don't share your enquiry with anyone else unless we're legally required to.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to support@wiewave.com and we'll action it. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, tell us and we'll try to put it right.

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and does not run third-party analytics or advertising scripts. Your theme preference, if you set one, is stored locally in your own browser and is never sent to us.

If we add analytics in future, we'll update this section before doing so.

This website is provided for general information about WIEWAVE and its services. Content here is descriptive, not a contractual offer — the scope, deliverables, timelines and price of any work are set out in a separate written proposal and agreement signed by both parties. Where this website and a signed agreement differ, the agreement governs.

Accuracy

We keep this site as accurate as we reasonably can, but we don't warrant that every page is complete or current at all times. Anything described as planned, upcoming or on our roadmap is a statement of intent, not a commitment to a date. Our Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Marketplace listings, by contrast, are live and available to purchase today — described here as current, not planned.

Intellectual property

The WIEWAVE name, logo, site design and written content are ours. Third-party product names and logos shown on this site — including those of Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud — belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the technologies we work with. Their appearance here does not imply any endorsement, sponsorship, partnership or certification unless stated explicitly in writing.

Where we link to other websites, we aren't responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

We don't take payments through this website. Fees, billing schedule, currency, applicable taxes and payment terms are agreed in the written proposal or service agreement for each engagement before work begins.

Cancellation

Either side may end an engagement on the notice period stated in the signed agreement. On cancellation, you're invoiced for work delivered and costs committed up to the effective date, and we hand over the work completed so far.

Refunds

Because our work is delivered as services rather than as a shrink-wrapped product, refunds are handled per the agreement for that engagement. If something we delivered doesn't match the agreed scope, tell us and we'll correct it.

Our marketplace offers on Azure, AWS and Google Cloud are billed and refunded through the relevant cloud marketplace, under that marketplace's own terms.

This website is served over HTTPS. Client environments we operate are governed by the access control, secrets management, monitoring and backup arrangements defined in that client's agreement — not by this page.

If you believe you've found a security issue in this website, please report it to support@wiewave.com rather than disclosing it publicly, and we'll respond promptly.
